- • 1. Teams and mission: we form the teams and present the cause: who will receive what you are about to build.
- • 2. Building: each team assembles its wooden kitchen or doll’s house. You have to share out pieces, read instructions, coordinate and check that everything is solid.
- • 3. Skill challenges (optional): between building stages, teams earn points in quick aiming and balance challenges.
- • 4. Handover: the finished toys are presented on stage and set off for the receiving organisation.
What the teams build
Wooden kitchen. Each team works together to assemble a toy kitchen: hob, oven, sink, doors. There are tasks for everyone, and the whole thing only comes together if the team coordinates. The kitchens go to organisations that support children, so that more boys and girls can make up their own stories as they play.
Doll’s house. A shared project: sorting the pieces, putting up the floors and setting up the different play areas. The finished house goes to an organisation that works with children.
In some editions of this charity team building we have also built balance bikes and construction robots. If you have a specific toy in mind, we will look into it.
Skill challenges in the charity team building
If you want to add competition, we slot in quick challenges that earn points for each team:
- • Axe and ninja star throwing: padded, aimed at the assigned targets. Every hit earns points for the team.
- • Jenga: taking turns, piece by piece. If the tower falls, the team loses the round.
- • Archery: each team member shoots at the assigned targets and adds up points.
- • Target shooting: with foam dart guns, taking turns, going for the highest score.
Precision counts, but what makes the difference is coordination and encouragement between colleagues.
